Bites and Stings Categories.

	Arachnidism - The effects, both local and systemic, caused by the bite of venomous SPIDERS.
	Insect Bites and Stings - Bites and stings inflicted by insects.
	Snake Bites - Bites by snakes. The condition of having been bitten by a venomous snake, characterized by stinging pain at the wound puncture. The venom injected at the site of the bite is capable of producing a deleterious effect on the blood or on the nervous system. (Webster's 3d ed; from Dorland, 27th ed, at snake, venomous)
	Tick Toxicoses - Toxicoses caused by toxic substances secreted by the salivary glands of ticks; include tick paralysis (neurotropic toxin), sweating sickness (dermotropic toxin), and Rhipicephalus appendiculatus toxicosis (leukotropic toxin).
