Dietary Fats

Medical Definition:	Fats present in food, especially in animal products such as meat, meat products, butter, ghee. They are present in lower amounts in nuts, seeds, and avocados.

Dietary Fats Categories.

	Butter - The fatty portion of milk, separated as a soft yellowish solid when milk or cream is churned. It is processed for cooking and table use. (Random House Unabridged Dictionary, 2d ed)
	Cholesterol, Dietary - Cholesterol present in food, especially in animal products.
	Dietary Fats, Unsaturated - Unsaturated fats or oils used in foods or as a food.
	Fat Emulsions, Intravenous - Emulsions of fats or lipids used primarily in parenteral feeding.
	Margarine - A butterlike product made of refined vegetable oils, sometimes blended with animal fats, and emulsified usually with water or milk. It is used as a butter substitute. (From Random House Unabridged Dictionary, 2d ed)
