Venae Cavae

Medical Definition:	The inferior and superior venae cavae.

Venae Cavae Categories.

	Vena Cava, Inferior - The venous trunk which receives blood from the lower extremities and from the pelvic and abdominal organs.
	Vena Cava, Superior - The venous trunk which returns blood from the head, neck, upper extremities and chest.
