Nephroma, Mesoblastic

Medical Definition: A malignant tumor of the kidney characterized by spindled myofibroblastic cells arranged in sheets or bundles with a tendency to infiltrate into the adjoining normal kidney and through the capsule into the perirenal tissues. (From Holland et al., Cancer Medicine, 3d ed, p2208)
