Leukemia, Lymphocytic

Medical Definition:	Leukemia associated with hyperplasia and overactivity of the lymphoid tissue. There are increased numbers of circulating malignant lymphocytes and lymphoblasts. (Dorland, 28th ed, p919)

	Leukemia, B-Cell
	Leukemia, Lymphocytic, Acute - Lymphocytic leukemia where cells show little differentiation. There are three major subgroups (FAB L1, L2, & L3) based on distinguishing characteristics of the blast cells. Adult and childhood forms of the disease show biological differences as well.
	Leukemia, Lymphocytic, Chronic
	Leukemia, T-Cell - A subtype of lymphocytic leukemia classified as acute or chronic depending on the degree of cell differentiation, not the duration of the disease.
