Basophils

Medical Definition: Granular leukocytes characterized by a relatively pale-staining, lobate nucleus and cytoplasm containing coarse dark-staining granules of variable size and stainable by basic dyes.
Guide Notes: restrict to leukocytes: not for "basophilic" when referring only to staining ( = STAINING)
