Myiasis

Medical Definition:	The invasion of living tissues of man and other mammals by dipterous larvae.
Guide Notes:	infestation by fly maggots

Myiasis Categories.

	Hypodermyiasis - Infestation with larvae of the genus Hypoderma, the warble fly.
	Screw Worm Infection - Infection with larvae of the blow fly Cochliomyia hominivorax (Callitroga americanum), a common cause of disease in livestock in the southern and southwestern U.S.A.
