Medical Definition:	Disorders related to substance abuse, the side effects of a medication, toxin exposure, and ALCOHOL-RELATED DISORDERS.

Substance-Related Disorders Categories.

	Alcohol-Related Disorders - Disorders related to or resulting from abuse or mis-use of alcohol.
	Amphetamine-Related Disorders - Disorders related or resulting from use of amphetamines.
	Cocaine-Related Disorders - Disorders related or resulting from use of cocaine.
	Marijuana Abuse - The excessive use of marijuana with associated psychological symptoms and impairment in social or occupational functioning.
	Opioid-Related Disorders - Disorders related or resulting from abuse or mis-use of opioids.
	Phencyclidine Abuse - The misuse of phencyclidine with associated psychological symptoms and impairment in social or occupational functioning.
	Substance Abuse, Intravenous - Abuse, overuse, or misuse of a substance by its injection into a vein.
	Substance Withdrawal Syndrome - Physiological and psychological symptoms associated with withdrawal from the use of a drug after prolonged administration or habituation. The concept includes withdrawal from smoking or drinking, as well as withdrawal from an administered drug.
	Tobacco Use Disorder - Tobacco used to the detriment of a person's health or social functioning. Tobacco dependence is included.
