|  | Mandatory Reporting - A legal requirement that designated types of information acquired by professionals or institutions in the course of their work be reported to appropriate authorities. | 
|  | Parental Notification - Reporting to parents or guardians about care to be provided to a minor (MINORS). | 
|  | Truth Disclosure - Truthful revealing of information, specifically when the information disclosed is likely to be psychologically painful ("bad news") to the recipient (e.g., revelation to a patient or a patient's family of the patient's diagnosis or prognosis) or embarassing to the teller (e.g., revelation of medical errors). |
