Microcirculation

Medical Definition: The circulation of the BLOOD through the microvascular network lying between the ARTERIOLES and VENULES. This network includes CAPILLARIES, metarterioles, and ARTERIOVENOUS ANASTOMOSES; and the flow of blood through this network.
