Perylene - Dibenz(de, kl)anthracene. Polycyclic hydrocarbon soil and water pollutant; also used as fluorescent lipid probe in cytochemistry of membranes and other lipid structures; derivatives may be carcinogenic. Synonyms: peri-dinaphthalene. |
