Medical Definition: | Disorders in the frequency of urination, the volume of urine produced or eliminated, or the ability to retain or void urine in normal fashion. |

Enuresis - Involuntary discharge of urine after the age at which urinary control should have been achieved; often used alone with specific reference to involuntary discharge of urine occurring during sleep at night (bed-wetting; nocturnal enuresis). (Dorland, 27th ed) | |
Oliguria - Clinical manifestation of the urinary system consisting of a decrease in the amount of urine secreted. | |
Polyuria - Urination of a large volume of urine with an increase in urinary frequency, commonly seen in diabetes. | |

Urinary Retention - Inability to urinate. The etiology of this disorder includes obstructive, neurogenic, pharmacologic, and psychogenic causes. |
