Manufactured Materials

Medical Definition:	Substances and materials manufactured for use in various technologies and industries and for domestic use.

Manufactured Materials Categories.

	Biomimetic Materials - Materials fabricated by BIOMIMETICS techniques, i.e., based on natural processes found in biological systems.
	Clothing
	Construction Materials
	Firearms - Small-arms weapons, including handguns, pistols, revolvers, rifles, shotguns, etc.
	Industrial Oils - Oils which are used in industrial or commercial applications.
	Nanotubes - Nanometer-sized tubes composed of various substances including carbon (CARBON NANOTUBES), boron nitride, or nickel vanadate.
	Paint
	Sports Equipment - Equipment required for engaging in a sport (such as balls, bats, rackets, skis, skates, ropes, weights) and devices for the protection of athletes during their performance (such as masks, gloves, mouth pieces).
