Medical Definition:	The state of the organism when it functions optimally without evidence of disease.
Also Called:	Normality

Health Categories.

	Family Health - The health status of the family as a unit including the impact of the health of one member of the family on the family as a unit and on individual family members; also, the impact of family organization or disorganization on the health status of its members.
	Occupational Health - The promotion and maintenance of physical and mental health in the work environment.
	Oral Health - The optimal state of the mouth and normal functioning of the organs of the mouth without evidence of disease.
	Rural Health - The status of health in rural populations.
	Suburban Health - The status of health in suburban populations.
	Urban Health - The status of health in urban populations.
	Women's Health - The concept covering the physical and mental conditions of women.
	World Health - The concept pertaining to the health status of inhabitants of the world.
