Herbicides

Medical Definition:	Pesticides used to destroy unwanted vegetation, especially various types of weeds, grasses (POACEAE), and woody plants.
Guide Notes:	GEN or unspecified; prefer specific herbicide groups or specific herbicide

Herbicides Categories.

	Defoliants, Chemical - Herbicides that remove leaves from trees and growing plants. They may be either organic or inorganic. Several of the more persistent types have been used in military operations and many are toxic. (From Hawley's Condensed Chemical Dictionary, 11th ed)
	Herbicides, Carbamate - Herbicides which owe their activity to the carbamate moiety in the molecule.
	Herbicides, Triazine - Herbicides which owe their activity to the triazine moiety in the molecule.
	Herbicides, Urea - Herbicides which owe their activity to the urea moiety in the molecule.
