Hemorrhage

Blood Loss, Surgical - Loss of blood during a surgical procedure. | |
Ecchymosis - Extravasation of blood into the skin, resulting in a nonelevated, rounded or irregular, blue or purplish patch, larger than a petechia. | |
Gastrointestinal Hemorrhage - Bleeding in any segment of the GASTROINTESTINAL TRACT from ESOPHAGUS to RECTUM. | |
Hematoma - An extravasation of blood localized in an organ, space, or tissue. | |
Hemobilia - Hemorrhage in or through the BILIARY TRACT due to trauma, inflammation, CHOLELITHIASIS, vascular disease, or neoplasms. | |
Postoperative Hemorrhage - Hemorrhage following any surgical procedure. It may be immediate or delayed and is not restricted to the surgical wound. | |
Shock, Hemorrhagic - Acute hemorrhage or excessive fluid loss resulting in HYPOVOLEMIA. |
