Patellar Ligament
Medical Definition: | The central portion of the common tendon of the quadriceps femoris. It is attached to the apex of the PATELLA and to the lower part of the tubercle of the TIBIA. |
Guide Notes: | an artic ligament between patella & tibia: do not confuse with MEDIAL COLLATERAL LIGAMENT, KNEE, between tibia & femur |
