Xanthomonadaceae

Medical Definition:	A family of gram-negative bacteria, in the order Xanthomonadales, pathogenic to plants.
Also Called:	Lysobacter

Xanthomonadaceae Categories.

	Stenotrophomonas - A genus of gram-negative, aerobic, motile, rod-shaped bacteria formerly classified as part of the genus XANTHOMONAS.
	Xanthomonas - A genus of PSEUDOMONADACEAE whose cells produce a yellow pigment (Gr. xanthos - yellow). It is pathogenic to plants.
	Xylella - A genus of gram-negative, aerobic bacteria, in the family XANTHOMONADACEAE. It is found in the xylem of plant tissue.
