Amniotic Fluid

Medical Definition: Amniotic cavity fluid which is produced by the AMNION and fetal lungs and kidneys.
Guide Notes: intra-amniotic injections do not go here: use AMNION + INJECTIONS; excess fluid and hydramnios = POLYHYDRAMNIOS; fluid deficiency = OLIGOHYDRAMNIOS
