Electrophoresis, Gel, Two-Dimensional

Medical Definition: Electrophoresis in which a second perpendicular electrophoretic transport is performed on the separate components resulting from the first electrophoresis. This technique is usually performed on polyacrylamide gels.
Guide Notes: usually performed on polyacrylamide gel (note X ref) but agarose gel is also used; NIM; DF: 2D PAGE
