Tilt-Table Test

Medical Definition: Tilt tables are used to maintain a head-down body posture during testing of cardiac response to identify patients with a vasodepressive or cardioinhibitory response as a cause of syncope. (From Braunwald, Heart Disease, 4th ed, p621)
