Photography

Medical Definition:

Method of making images on a sensitized surface by exposure to light or other radiant energy.

Photography Categories.

	Image Enhancement - Improvement of the quality of a picture by various techniques, including computer processing, digital filtering, echocardiographic techniques, light and ultrastructural microscopy, fluorescence spectrometry and microscopy, scintigraphy, and in vitro image processing at the molecular level.
	Photofluorography - The photography of images produced on a fluorescent screen by X-rays.
	Photogrammetry - Making measurements by the use of stereoscopic photographs.
	Photography, Dental - Photographic techniques used in ORTHODONTICS; DENTAL ESTHETICS; and PATIENT EDUCATION.
	Photomicrography - Photography of objects viewed under a microscope using ordinary photographic methods.
