|  | Ear | 
|  | Face - The anterior portion of the head that includes the skin, muscles, and structures of the forehead, eyes, nose, mouth, cheeks, and jaw. | 
|  | Scalp - The outer covering of the calvaria. It is composed of several layers: SKIN; subcutaneous connective tissue; the occipitofrontal muscle which includes the tendonous galea aponeurotica; loose connective tissue; and the pericranium (the PERIOSTEUM of the SKULL). | 
|  | Skull Base - The inferior region of the skull consisting of an internal (cerebral), and an external (basilar) surface. |
