Antitoxins

Medical Definition:	Antisera from immunized animals that is purified and used as a passive immunizing agent against specific bacterial toxins.

Antitoxins Categories.

	Antivenins - Antisera used to counteract poisoning by animal venom.
	Diphtheria Antitoxin - An antitoxin used for the treatment of diphtheria. It is of equine origin and produced against the toxin of Corynebacterium diphtheriae.
	Tetanus Antitoxin
