Medical Definition: | An act which constitutes the termination of a given instinctive behavior pattern or sequence. |
Guide Notes: | mainly animal; conclusion of a series of responses: nothing to do with "consumption" of food or other substances ( = EATING BEHAVIOR see FEEDING BEHAVIOR) |
