Antibiotics, Glycopeptide

Medical Definition:	Antibiotics whose structure contains one or more cyclic peptides to which are attached to one or more deoxy sugars in glycosidic linkage. They are generally effective against gram-positive bacteria and act by inhibiting peptidoglycan synthesis in bacterial cell walls.
