Salsoline Alkaloids

Medical Definition: Tetrahydroisoquinolinol alkaloids in both dextro and levo forms, originally from Salsola richteri; may be hypotensive due to inhibition of certain brain enzymes; may be formed de novo in brain from dopamine during alcoholism.
