Medical Definition:	Those facilities which administer health services to individuals who do not require hospitalization or institutionalization.

Ambulatory Care Facilities Categories.

	Community Health Centers - Facilities which administer the delivery of health care services to people living in a community or neighborhood.
	Community Mental Health Centers - Facilities which administer the delivery of psychologic and psychiatric services to people living in a neighborhood or community.
	Maternal-Child Health Centers - Facilities which administer the delivery of health care services to mothers and children.
	Outpatient Clinics, Hospital - Organized services in a hospital which provide medical care on an outpatient basis.
	Surgicenters - Facilities designed to serve patients who require surgical treatment exceeding the capabilities of usual physician's office yet not of such proportion as to require hospitalization.
