Medical Definition:	Congenital malformations of organs or parts.

Abnormalities Categories.

	Abnormalities, Drug-Induced - Congenital abnormalities caused by medicinal substances or drugs of abuse given to or taken by the mother, or to which she is inadvertently exposed during the manufacture of such substances. The concept excludes abnormalities resulting from exposure to non-medicinal chemicals in the environment.
	Abnormalities, Multiple
	Abnormalities, Radiation-Induced - Congenital changes in the morphology of organs produced by exposure to ionizing or non-ionizing radiation.
	Chromosome Disorders - Clinical conditions caused by an abnormal chromosome constitution in which there is extra or missing chromosome material (either a whole chromosome or a chromosome segment). (from Thompson et al., Genetics in Medicine, 5th ed, p429)
	DiGeorge Syndrome - Congenital syndrome with the absence of the thymus and parathyroids causing impairment of cellular immunity. Immunoglobulin levels are normal.
	Monsters - A fetus or infant with such pronounced developmental anomalies as to be grotesque and usually nonviable. (Dorland, 27th ed)
	Situs Inversus - Lateral transposition of the viscera of the thorax and abdomen. It has a familial pattern and consanguineous parents have been reported. (From Dorland, 27th ed)
	Skin Abnormalities - Congenital structural abnormalities of the skin.
